Our corner of Tasmania

Close to the wild,
far from the rush.

At the foot of Mount Roland, where native bushland meets the Dasher River, Whispering Woods is secluded accommodation near Cradle Mountain and a peaceful North West Tasmania farmstay. Cradle Mountain is around 55 minutes away by car. A seasonal creek winds through the property and comes to life with the changing weather.

Wander the 20-acre hobby farm, visit the vegetable garden and meet the sheep, calf and alpaca, alongside the resident dog and poultry. Watch the weather roll across the mountain and follow the autumn drive home. Towns and wild places are close enough for easy day trips, but here the days move to a gentler rhythm.
